Letterpress archive box to store all of your favourite photographs. The perfect gift for someone special.
Inspired by the below stairs and kitchen garden storage containers and stationary used in large country houses which were always functional and simple, but often very beautiful.
The box is made from a sturdy 70% recycled card that has been handprinted and comes with four tabbed dividers so that you can organise your favourite photos into little sections of happy memories.
The box is typeset in Baskerville, a typeface designed by John Baskerville in Birmingham around 1750. The whole set has been handprinted on a restored Victorian treadle printing press, using linseed oil ink.
Mabel & Co
Working from an old wheelwright's shop in Suffolk, Mabel & co is a designer-maker studio focused on sustainability and traditional craft practices. At the heart of the Mabel & co print room is a restored 160-year-old printing press that works busily printing beautiful stationery.
Sustainability and traditional techniques are at the heart of Mabel & co; their card stock is recycled or FSC certified, the ink is linseed oil-based sourced from small British companies and all their packaging is either compostable or recyclable.
